Lady Madonna Waiting , 2010 - from the series American Hinterlands Another view of this scene that I covered not too long ago. I found this along the way of my daily walks. I thought it strange, but compelling.

Tea at the Hamptons , 2010 - from the series American Hinterlands This scene reminded me of furniture that seems to belong at some Long Island estate overlooking a beautiful view of the ocean. It would be placed on this vast acreage of grass and swallowed up by all the open spaces. Instead, I found it in a gritty neighborhood where I walk almost everyday.
